This beautiful rare breed Border Leicester yarn was grown here on our farm in North Yorkshire, from our 300+ strong flock of high welfare pedigree Border Leicesters.

All of our sheep live to grow old.

After shearing ,we handpick fleeces to transport to Bradford, where the fleeces are washed, combed and worsted spun into 100 gm skeins..

The yarn has a great handle, gives great stitch definition and drapes so well. Perfect for that special project of yours!

Washing care: Pure wool- hand wash and dry flat.
