Scarborough Lace Jacket Pattern

Description

This stitch pattern is often called foaming waves and it seemed like a wonderful choice for a summer lace jacket which could be worn on a daytrip or longer stay.

This jacket is knitted in pieces from the bottom up. It is stitched together at the sides, sleeve seams and to set in the sleeves. The front edges are reinforced to support the weight of the buttons with an integral 4 stitch garter band that is folded in half down the length of the front and hemmed down.
