Carol Meldrum’s design uses Black motifs on a striped background, while the thumbs, ribbed cuffs and garter stitch upper edgings are worked in black.
This pattern was commissioned by The Knitter and is it only available from issue 186. We can supply the wool kit however.
We have had an extremely good relationship with The Knitter which we believe is the best knitting magazine available in the U.K. and other parts of the world. They have commissioned 4 projects to be knit with our yarn with top of the range designers, 2 sweaters, one scarf and mittens. These patterns show the versatility of our yarns, the great stitch definition, wonderful colours and cabling availability. I have also written half a dozen articles on our slaughter-free flock and yarn for them. We are looking forward to working with them again soon.
