Description

This beautiful Border Leicester yarn is made from the fleeces of our 300 strong pedigree flock of rare breed Border Leicesters which we farm here in North Yorkshire.

The flock are high welfare and all the sheep live to grow old here on our farm in North Yorkshire.

After shearing, we handpick the fleeces to transport over to Bradford, where they are washed, combed and worsted spun into 100 gm skeins.

The yarn itself has a great handle and gives great stitch definition and drape!

An ethical British product, made in Yorkshire from a single flock, and a wonderful yarn for your special project.

Washing care: Pure wool- handwash with care and dry flat .
